I'm a galaxy s23 user who has experienced green lines on my phone . I've posted about it on feb or march .
This post is to find out about the real reason why green line occurs , for that i need answers from all those who experienced the same .
Possible causes that most people say or from what I've understood after doing some research on this topic and some questions :-
SOFTWARE UPDATE:-Green line is caused due to certain software updates. Theres is some fault in the software update that causes some hardware problems in the device and causes a green line . (If this is actually the cause then all phones must be getting green line as the software upside is same for all , and that's not the case not everyone doing that gets a green line ) Does the green line come right after the update ? Or during the update ? Or some days later ? Did you update on wifi or mobile data ?
HEATING:- Does your phone heat a lot ? Do you use your phone in hot environments ? Do you play high graphics games that heat your phone ? Do you update your phone in hot environment or while charging ? Do you use your phone while charging ? What were you doing on the phone when green line appeared?
Heating is also associated with software update as a lot of heating is present while updating the smartphone . Continuous heating over long periods of time gradually destroying the display and finally causing green line to occur .
RANDOM CASES:- If neither of the above caused green line . It just randomly appeared out of nowhere.
I want people who read who have experienced green line or have friends who experienced green line to answer the questions I've asked which is relevant for your situation. It could be really useful to others as it may help others to atleast prevent green line from ever happening by taking some precautionary measures
