RCS is disabled in S24 Ultra

Seems like #Samsung has disabled the #rcs feature on my s24 ultra after android 16 update here in the UAE. What about you?

Thats a good news actually. It means our carriers/operators got nothing to do with it 😒

Of course RCS services are managed directly by google .not samsung or anyone else 🤔

Google didn't announce anything yet about the service or this region

I hate how messy they have made this RCS stuff.

It just doesn't work reliably to compete with Apple's iMessage OR with whatsapp.

I don't understand why all stakeholders can't get together and sort this.

I don't like to use Google Messages app which supports RCS. Why Samsung Message can support it out of box.

Its disabled by Etisalat and Du so we can pay them for SMS messages

Yep i.am 100% sure about this because when i travel to my home country and as soon as i put my home country sim rcs start working just fine and when i come back here it get disabled
