After being a loyal Samsung mobile customer, I must say I am a bit disappointed.

I recently purchased the new S25 Ultra directly from samsung store app (Order Number AE250123-71249804) and as soon as I took it out from the box and connect it to my 5G WiFi router, the phone freezes and restarts, every single time.

Then I brought it to customer support, they factory reset it, brought home and same story.

Then I brought to a different Samsung center, they tested it and after 10 days they replaced it (after i have been following up daily).

Now I just got a brand new phone, switched on, and I am getting the exact same problem.

I have a very fast and powerful router, NETGEAR Nighthawk X10 R9000, with 18 devices perfectly connected, including my current S24 Ultra.

I obviously done several troubleshooting, restarting router, etc. I am a former IT Engineer, so not the typical newbie.

Channel 40 - 153, speed up to 1733Mbps (I tried change the channels and same story), QoS disabled.

Saying that the problem is the router, it is not an option, as the only phone that freeze as soon as it connects is the S25 Ultra.

Is anyone experiencing the same issue with latest fastest WiFi 5Ghz?

Bro just make sure the IPv6 settings in your router are set to DHCPv6, instead of SLAAC. And try connecting to wifi after that. Pretty sure it will work.

hey nice idea, I haven't thought about that.

Unfortunately I tried and it didn't worked. Actually my router don't see ipv6 connection.

Funny thing,  as soon as it connects, the phone freezes instantly and reboot, then as soon as is on, it tries to reconnect automatically to the same wifi, and it freezes again.

I had to leave the apartment, far from the wifi, so it didn't connect and I was able to remove the known wifi.

I just tried reducing the speed to 800 mbps, instead of 1733 mbps and...

...it worked!

it crashes when I enable 160 Mhz band in 5 Ghz wifi.

if i disable it, even with 1733 mbps setting, it works.

Implicit BEAMFORMING and MU-MIMO are enabled without issues.

wifi setting is on United States, to get maximum wifi power.

I am puzzled.

Guys do you have a router with enabled the 160 Mhz band? It works?
