Samsung has introduced a private album concept in Gallery to hide your private photos (note: it's a different concept from Secure Folder and Locked Album).

But for the time being its only available in Galary lab.
To use this feature you have to activate it , Galary labs option.
How to activate Galary Labs ?
Open Galary settings and find the version number and tap it repeatedly (about 7-10 times) until you see a message saying "Gallery Labs is enabled".
Go back to the main settings menu, and you will now see Gallery Labs at the bottom, where you can access experimental features.
Now open Gallery labs and Toggle On the Private Albums . Close the gallery app and Reopen it .
Now Click On the Gallery Menu button present on the bottom right corner to see this option.
Now select any photo in gallery app without opening it and then click on " More" Option (present in the bottom right corner).
Then select 'Move to private album ' .
That's it, your image will not be shown in Gallery app anymore .
You can access the image while clicking on the option 'Private album' Present in Menu .
