I recently purchased a S24 Ultra from UK. I have got the phone to India. On starting the phone, I am unable to locate Google Playstore App. I have tried searching for the same in Hidden/ Disabled Apps but cannot find it anywhere. It is not showing up in the System apps too. I contacted the service centre. They too tried and asked me to contact the customer care. The customer care executive asked me to post it on the Samsung Members group. Can anyone help?

Google Playstore app is always available on Android phone by default. It doesn't matter from where you purchased phone. You need to login with your Gmail account to access Google play store. As it won't open if you don't login with Google gmail. And also check if there is any update available. If nothing works as you are saying play store app is not even showing the. Reset your phone.

I have logged in with my Gmail account. The Google account is added. I have reset the phone twice. Playstore is seen initially on the main screen. The moment the phone initializes and sets up, it disappears.

Reset will be the last option. As you have UK variant of 24 ultra . As resetting changes everything to it's default. And one more thing , is your phone is Indian Sim unlocked variant?

I think the sim is unlocked as I could get the network and make calls. I will try resetting it again. Thanks for the help.

Use the given link to download and install the application manually. Link:- https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google-inc/google-play-store/

Try using the application for 3-5 minutes, then restart your device.

That should fix your problem.

Immediately after installing the application, clear the data of "Google Play Services".

😉

Accept as a solution if this helps you.
