Pink line on S20 plus

I received the security patch on 28 sept. After that i got Pink line on my display around 4 oct. 

 I reached the service center and samsung toll free, they said i have to pay 18500 to replace the display as FREE DISPLAY REPLACEMENT policy expire on 30 Sept. 

My phone is still under 3 year and not a single dant or damage but they refuse because policy expire. 😓

Because of their fauilty update why i have to pay.
