I feel cheated by this pink line issue, and the service center refused to provide a free display replacement. The issue arose after a software update. The S21, S21+, S21 Ultra, and S22 Ultra received free display replacements, but the S22 and S22+ did not. Need to know if someone trusts a brand and buys a premium-segment mobile, expecting to avoid issues, but the product fails to deliver. I bought it at release March'22 . How can it still be under warranty after almost three years? I've given feedback and raised a service request with Samsung Service. I'm waiting for a reply on the next step, or whether we need to take a different approach to get the solution resolved from their side, as this is not the issue we created.

If anyone get this resolved, kindly reply on the steps gone through it. Thanks

On my S22+, a PINK line had appeared 3 weeks back and one week back, additional GREEN line has also appeared. Tried all possible remedies incl. Service centre. Now, It costs 16k for screen replacement and that too new screen warranty is for 3 months only.

What if, a new PINK/GREEN line appears again after another crazy update from Samsung?

So, I decided that,I would switch to some other OEM who is not cheating customes by providing crazy software updates and then forcing customers to buy display replacement.

My model is also s22+ and I too got pink line recently. Service centre is quoting Rs.17.5k for screen replacement. Also they told they are supporting only S22 ultra model for 1 time free screen replacement. Not sure what to do.

Getting phone exchange value around 8k which is half of screen replacement cost and there is no garranty that new model or replaced screen won't have this problem.

8K is too low and also it's not in our fault to replace with that cost.

only in India!

if you guys were facing it in the USA, you would have filed a Class Action against Samsung and this scandal of -let it call- PLANNED OBSOLESCENCE

Yes brother. I was thinking the same. If there is no positive improvement from their side within 5 to 10 days. Then I can proceed with the action
