Pink Line After One UI 7 Update

Hello Samsung Support,

I am using a Samsung s22 plus which recently received an update for the one ui 7 post which a pink vertical line is appearing on my phone screen, kindly advise me how to fix this

If there is any free screen replacement policies kindly let me know as this is really a worse situation to deal with after an update to the phone despite not having any physical damage to the phone.

Update: Samsung has provided me with free screen replacement with a service charge of 650rs but the waiting time for replacement of my display was 2 weeks and 3 days initially when I visited they said it could take 1 month minimum but luckily got it, but still these issue whenever we update a phone is really disheartening.
If anyone facing the same issue kindly visit your nearest authorized service center and check with them for replacement, mine was 1 year 8 month old phone. 
Note: This will be applicable to only handsets purchased from India so if you have purchased from outside of india you won't be getting a replacement free of cost

Please follow these easy troubleshooting steps which may help in resolving this issue:

● Kindly restart your device once: To power off through Quick settings, swipe down from the top of the screen. Tap the Power icon in the upper right of the screen (next to the Settings icon), and then tap Power off. Kindly power buttons on the device after by pressing power for 5-7 seconds.

● Reset the device:
Note: Kindly create data backup of your device via SMART switch mobile application or http://www.samsung.com/in/support/smartswitch pc suite. Remember Google password before resetting the device because it required during initial setup. If you don't remember the password, then reset (Forgot password) your google account.

Settings > General Management > Reset > Temporary cloud backup or External storage backup > Factory data reset (This will erase all data, including files and downloaded apps.)

If the issue still occurs, please visit the service centre for a physical inspection of your device. You can locate your nearest service centre with this given link: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/service-center/

Kindly complaint to Samsung customer support through Samsung Members App as error report also send log files Along with this error report for this issue. Then go to service center for replace/repair it's. If you like please accept as a solution it's help to others users also,click on 3dots in my reply section and click on accept solution. Thanks.

Hey,
I think there is free screen replacement available if your device is under 3years and without and physical damage.

Do visit service center.

Recently I got free screen replacement.
I too had one Pink line and two green lines since October 2024.

Yes, i think you will get the free screen replacement. Just visit authorized service center.
