I am using Galaxy S24+ (Exynos chipset).
Whenever I am on a WhatsApp video call, the device gets extremely hot and battery drains very fast.
It reaches a point where it's difficult to even hold the phone with bare hands.

Is anyone else facing the issue,
Request Samsung to please provide a solution for it.

You need to reset your phone... it maybe because your device memory is full or about to be full.
Backup your data in cloud or external drive and reset it.
Before you reset.
Make sure your device software is updated. If not please update to latest version. Check software update in settings.
If the issue is still not resolved after resetting. Visit a samsung service center.

Thanks for your input, but my device memory is at 50% currently.
