Panel Gap between Screen and Frame on a brand new S21 Ultra

Hi Guys,

I just purchased a brand new Galaxy S21 Ultra,

I am loving the phone, however I have noticed a gap between the screen and Body of the phone and I can slide a piece of paper through it.

(Pictures attached below)

I am deeply disappointed with this, is this normal?

I previously had the s7 and s9 and both had similar manufacturing flaws, it **bleep** to see that Samsung Quality control has still not changed over the years.

Is this a problem? Shall this affect the water resistance of the phone or is this normal?

I thinks it's not normal because if their is a gap then definitely it can't be water resistant, better to go to store from where you buyed it and ask reason of that gap

Better get it checked..in my S10+ there is no such gap

In S10+ very small gap is there in the top of the screen. You can check

Hi.... please don't put paper too deep as it may effect some parts of the phone. Back nd front both are attached with adhesive....it's a manufacturing defects. If you have purchased it less then 7 days before, just replace this by a new one. I have S21 nd i can also see a very very tiny space between side hinge and screen, but it's unnoticeable , also not as worse as your phone.

I have also faced this problem from back ..now your is no more Waterproof.. Go back to store and Change your phone

You have sadly been provided with a defective unit. My S21 Ultra doesn't have any gaps between the frame and the glass.

I checked out demo phones at the store also and all had gaps in different variations
