Overheating issue

I bought samsung galaxy s22 5g on 8th of October, 2023 from flipkart, all the features of this phone is excellent, but after video recording for 15 to 20 mins make the phone overheat , which ultimately drain battery faster than usual . I scared whether the phone get blast . Samsung should work on to fix the heating issue of galaxy s22 .

Yeh happened with S22+ too. It has SD 8GEN 1. Poor in heating management. You should knew it before buying. Mine heats up even now after 9 months. And it will happen cause of SD 8Gen 1. It's a hardware problem. But due to software optimisation it will come typically normal. Wait for 1months. Your phone will adapt your using pattern, battery drainage and will work for optimisation. So use your phone normally. Wait for 1months.

But if the temperature goes up after 48 degree celcius regularly then go to service centre. You have a faulty device. Use CPUz app for temprature tracking

This is not a device problem this is a processor problem because s22 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 gen 1.
Every 8 gen1 device has heating problem and the next reason is the device size. S22 has a compact device so that's why the phone will overheat.
And also battery size is small therefore your phone drain fast.
This issue is all of s22 device and also most of 8 gen2 Device.

Same is happening with s21 fe 5g

This problem also rise with processor because s21fe has exynos and 888 so the both processor has heating issue because 888 manufacturing by samsung. And exynos is also manufacturing by the samsung. That's why rise this problem
