I have noticed that after updating to One UI 8, my phone is overheating.. especially the top side bars..
Before the update i never faced these issues..
But now using hotspot.. or even scrolling instagram for a few minutes makes it unbearably hot. I had to repeatedly keep my phone a few minutes in the freezer to cool it down. I have raised a complain by sending logs already, but i wanted to know if others are also facing this issue.
Recently samsung has also paused the roll out of One UI 8. I had updated it early, but on my friends S23, he has not received One UI 8.
I think there is a problem which samsung should address here..

I did not face any lags or jitters.. its just the overheating issue

S23 is the power full processor and also now they give a update so sometimes it will happened so don't worry about it switch off the location when u needed that time on that and use power saving mode ot will help to reduce the heat

Are you an **bleep** ? Why to switch on power saving mode. Why to ruin the experience. Someone buying s23 not to put it in power saving mode. Smsung deliberately throttling performance through updates.

You’re not using a customized PC, so there’s no need for such a big cooling system. This is a small device, and the company has already provided the necessary cooling setup. Use it only when needed the rest of the time, the phone will function normally. That way, its lifespan will be longer. What we’re doing now is just for safety.

Bro using power saving mode will ruin the experience. And why are you even comparing a customised pc with a phone. You are dumb.

Must be due to signal quality. Top half is the area with max signal reception. 4G/5G/5G+.
Instagram, YouTube, Tiktok, similar apps depend a lot on continuous downloads so, may be stop using till updates.
If the signal strength is similar in your area and this happened post update then you have no option. Instead wait till a new fix arrives. Or reset the phone by visiting a service center. Or do it yourself if you are aware of the steps. Cheers!
