Samsung seriously needs to rethink its priorities. It’s mid-April 2025, and Galaxy S24 Ultra users still haven’t received the One UI 7 (Android 15) update—what’s going on? You announced a rollout for April 7, and now it’s radio silence. This is unacceptable from a brand that charges premium prices and claims to be a leader.
Meanwhile, OnePlus is already testing Android 16, and Samsung is still dragging its feet on Android 15? How can you justify this to your loyal user base?
Stop with the false promises and vague timelines. This is the worst communication I’ve seen from Samsung in years. If you want to retain user faith, stop making false claims and start delivering.

You really have faith in them after 8 months delay FR?
It's good to be optimistic but tbh i believe it will be new norm for samsung going forward as they delayed the update intentionally to increase the sales of S25U, and that's not even the main issue
What im thinking is that they said specifically '7 years' of android updates not '7 android os' updates and by this rate considering one major update every two years they may provide 3 updates by the time s24U gets 7 years old and they will say 7 years sooooooo, get a new phone now.

😂 😂 well bro you kinda misunderstood me, it's not about me having faith in them, infact I'm really pissed , but on my above comment, I just pointed out that yeah samsung has delayed the update, but it has also started working on Android 16 based One UI 8. Besides your point about 7 years update, it is infact the Seven Years of OS update, so s24 are good till android 21. But based on the chipset that was dumped to us here in INDIA, the Exynos 2400, though flagship it's only a mediocre processor, 8GB ram in the base S24 variants it'll be useless by then and the S24 will have a hard time running Android 21 smoothly , I'm pretty sure 16gb ram will be the new normal then , while the Chinese brands will offer 24GB as base ram in their flagships, besides if not for the software and it's AI Samsung is now the worst performing flagship , having nothing new to offer to people, they bump on camera spec every year , and introduce a new chipset and a few new AI improvements, thinking it's enough, but in reality it's not it's bogus, the Samsung is not even close to the likes of XIAOMI, VIVO AND OPPO, as their ultra phones , completely obliterates samsung's ultra , they offer better price, better hardware, new innovations, decent AI, but only lacks in software department, if only they'll improve their software to match samsung, then samsung it will be the least selling flagship phone in India as it's mid rangers are already trash with low power Exynos.

Yeah, but if they keep ignoring older phones like that, their rep's gonna tank. I liked Samsung because they weren't afraid to experiment. They'd add cool new stuff every year, it was fun to explore! Now they're all Apple-like, slow and steady, but they're losing people who liked the old way. They're even removing fun stuff from new phones, like the Bluetooth pen – it wasn't huge, but it was fun, and those little things were their identity, but i guess that's whole different topic! Anyways.
