Samsung. Please - ur software updates are worse than ever. By the time android base moves t0 android 20 u are still going to be stuck on android 18. By u I mean us who buy your flagships at 1500+ cost which we could have spent on pixel device or oppo fold even.

It won't be long before people turn around and f off. This is crazy. And lazy. Android 17 beta 4 already released. Stable expected to be released in June 2026.

Samsung ko ye samajhna hoga ki flagship users "Tech Enthusiasts" hote hain. Unhe naye Android versions (jaise Android 17) sabse pehle chahiye.
1. Pixel vs Samsung: The Update Gap
Google Pixel ka advantage ye hai ki Android unka apna hai, isliye Beta 4 ke baad Stable version unhe turant mil jayega. Samsung ko One UI ki ek bhari layer (Customization, Features, Samsung Ecosystem) chadhani padti hai, jisme waqt lagta hai. Par June 2026 tak ka intezar sach mein bahut zyada hai.
2. Why the "Lazy" Impression?
Regional Bias: Pehle updates Korea aur Germany mein aate hain, baaki duniya ko intezar karna padta hai.
Testing Phase: Samsung "Bug-free" experience ke naam par rollout ko slow rakhta hai, par is beech Pixel users naye features enjoy kar chuke hote hain.
3. Solution for Power Users:
Agar aapko updates ki itni hi jaldbaazi hai, toh:
Samsung Members App par "Beta Program" ke liye register karein (Jab bhi open ho).
Samsung ko "Feedback" section mein tagging ke saath ye message bheinjein. Unhe pata chalna chahiye ki premium users ab Pixel ya Oppo Fold ki taraf dekh rahe hain.
📝 Expert Note for Community:
"Doston, flagship users ka gussa ekdum sahi hai. Jab hardware industry-leading hai, toh software updates mein deri nahi honi chahiye. Hum Samsung se appeal karte hain ki apne One UI development cycle ko tez karein taaki Galaxy users Android ke naye versions ke liye mahino tak intezar na karein. Premium price ka matlab premium service hona chahiye! Agar aap bhi isse sehmat hain, toh 'Accept as Solution' mark karke apni awaaz Samsung tak pahunchayein! 💙🚀"

One plus, oppo, realme and Motorola (fugin motorola) are running beta 17 final builds right now. For stable releases:
OnePlus: Has confirmed that newer devices like the OnePlus 11, 12, 13, and 15 series are in line for the update, with a stable rollout projected for Q3 2026.Oppo & Vivo: Typically begin their stable rollouts for flagship Find and X-series devices within 2–3 months of Google's official stable release, placing them in the August–October 2026 window.Xiaomi: Expected to update its flagship numbered series (Xiaomi 15, 16, 17) and recent Redmi Note models to HyperOS 3.0/4.0 (Android 17) starting in late 2026

Where are we? 2026 1st quarter done. Still on 16. Now they are jumping on social media because they also know they late. Bruh. That's why the hype started.

What I have read online is internal testing of One UI 9 based on Android 17 is going on. And compitition chinese brands are also bringing it in Q3 or later. Before stable release by Google (expecting June 2026) nobody can test & release their versions anyways. So I don't know why are so much on edge for it. I think people switch to chinese brands because they give better hardware than Samsung for same price, not for software. Personally I don't mind getting it little late but more stable & reliable than having early with bugs & inconsistent performance.

They're busy in delaying the 8.5 update for older devices to boost S26 sales, typical Scamsung things.

There's nothing new in OneUI9 EXCEPT APPLOCK which actually is a BIG THING for us.
