One UI has been evolving really backwards for the notifications.
I am not talking about the Quick Settings panel change (that is subjective) but only about the Notifications UI / UX and its changes.

Issues:
1. We earlier used to have grouping in OneUI notifications prior to OneUI 5.1 (Conversations. Alerting, Silent/Other) that is all gone and it was a much needed feature.
2. The stacking of notifications is terrible UX idea, causing an extra step and causing sometimes to miss important ones.
3. The huge size of Notifications is so ugly with so much round curves as well as taking precious device real estate, about 3-4 notifications could be clubbed together in OneUI 6.1 compared to a single notification in OneUI 7.
(Similarly many home widgets also feel weird due to such big curves, imagining having an Ultra device and still keeping so much round on widget curves, that device is straight edged as a sword).
4. Wasting so much space on both sides of status bar especially on devices which have real estate to show details but now restricted to only 3 at most and even wasting some spacing on the center of status bar on either sides of Camera Hole.
5. Clear button now clearing even the persistent notifications (steps, running background apps, etc), this was not the case on One UI 6.1.
Persistent notifications should only be cleared once dismissed individually by the user.
6. The Lock screen notifications & AOD notifications don't make sense either restricting to three small icons on top statusbar or such Big cards, really ugly and jarring UI.

I wish all these were either changed by giving options to user or reverted back as soon as possible. (Possibly via Good Lock or Software updates)
I will certainly lose interest in OneUI if these don't get addressed and these will keep me away from updating all my devices to OneUI 7 or going to buy a device with OneUI 7 or above in future.

I agree with you. I am also upset with the status bar icons to only 3. Also the search bar is at the bottom which actually is paining while using apps like gpay and others.

Samsung bring back..that notification widget thing below the clock on lockscreen..it was awesome..both intuitive and aesthetic. Why did you remove it?
