OneUI 4.0 S20 FE 5G Feedback

Hello friends, 

This is my feedback after using OneUI 4.0 update for approximately 24 hours:

Pros

1. UI has been revamped to a great extent 

2. Transitions are quicker and smooth

3. Loved the feature where we can protect battery by charging only upto 85%

4. Color palate feature is awesome 

5. New charging animation is better than last one

6. Experience better battery life

7. Loved how widgets are accessible easily now after they arranged it vertically 

8. Screen mirroring is back

9. Added live caption option in the volume panel for easy access 

10. Added an Extra Dim feature where brightness can be reduced even further

11. Now dark mode can be applied to wallpaper

12. Battery and Device care menu has been revamped

Cons:

1. Front camera feels downgraded. It was way better on OneUI 3.1

2. Stuttering while scrolling certain apps like twitter

3. Samsung should allow to change AOD font size in Android 12. Just look at stock Android 12 and it is way better and bigger!

Will add more points in the future.

Also the brightness don't increase after the camera app is open ... It remains constant ....

That's a feature that they say they have added it.

Just to be sure, are you referring to phone brightness or brightness settings in some camera mode?

See ... if my brightness of display is low ... and If I open camera then by default my brightness should automatically increase.... which used to happen before update ... u check it in other one samsung phone if you want... but now my brightness don't increase it remains low only

Got your point now. Yes, somehow that doesn't happen now. I checked Samsung forums of other countries and they were complaining that brightness should not increase when opening camera app. Looks like they removed it 😅

Check out this link from Samsung official regarding camera brightness. This setting is no longer available!

Also, if you want to have that feature, you can still do it. Just create a bixby routine like the one I have created. See the image
