I had always hated Samsung's TouchWiz back in the day, which consistently made me choose either apple or google/oneplus for years as a primary device.
Couple of years ago, I liked the z flip 3 just for the sake of it and eventually ended up loving the experience of owning it. Even though one ui felt like a breath of fresh air, it still didn't feel as vanilla as the stock android experience on Google devices. So the easiest option out was a third party launcher and I tried both; launchair as well as nova. After going back to apple upon selling my Z flip 3, I'm back to Samsung with the s24 ultra rocking nova launcher and can't get enough of it.
Battery and overheating sure are issues that are present but they're there because of one ui 7 and they'd certainly be fixed with the next update.
Anyone else using a third party launcher?

Same here. I always hated touchwiz and was sceptical owning samsung just because of UI which is better than touchwiz but still far from Vanilla android. But I found Nova consuming more battery in s23. Also, color pallette doesn't works on Nova so instead started using Good lock for enhancements instead of any third-party launchers.

Yeah couldn't agree more. I realised the battery drain on one ui 7 wa already quite bad and I read alot of reviews stating third party launchers like nova drain it further. Now I'm back to one ui 7 as the home launcher. Haven't observed any difference in battery life though but the customisation with good lock is off the charts.
