To my understanding, bricking happens when you install a non compatible software like oxygen os on a Samsung, or when there are errors during the installation, like power cuts, device removal while downloadis in progress, but if you finish flashing and your device recognizes tge software as the official one,you should be good. I used one ui 7 compatible with my devide, the SM-S296B from Europe, the file was 18Gb in total, 6.1 was removed successfully, but my phone factory reseted, and everything has been good, and my phone recognizes it as the main software during dionostic tests.
