One Ui 6.0/Android 14

The current state of the roadmap is the following.

Never been more anticipation for an update as far as I can tell, and if the update is ready in one region why not just release it globally? Android 14 feels like it's gonna be the make or break for some people as to whether they'll be switching over to IOS, and the delay that Samsung is giving isn't helping the cause.

As far as I can tell S22 series has begun rollout in SA but not everyone has received it yet. As for S21 series, no clue as to when we should expect the update.

Hopefully Samsung going forward can fix software launch issues, as on iPhones they all launch on the same day.

Is it only the S users going to have the update? If so then I genuinely do think I'm going to be switching over to a different brand phone like iPhone or OPPO. Releasing an update only for certain phones especially for the phones that is already expensive especially in South Africa is....unfair in a way I've been waiting for this update to come out but they only talking about it being for the S series.

Nope, the majority of their newer phones and tablets will be receiving the update.

Who has received One UI 6.0 on S22 Ultra in SA , from which carrier?

I'm not entirely too sure, but the carrier shouldn't influence it, only Samsung and the Chipset used. I know a few people(who aren't in the beta program) who've received the update. Hopefully, by the end of this weekend, the S22 series should be finished, and going into next week S21 series should be greenlit.
