My take on the ongoing update delays, Samsung should stop and now focus on quality rather than quantity in smart phone market. Too many models in series of A,M,F,S and Z along with different chipsets different variants. Start focusing on one release per year on each series and unify chipset models. Focus on ecosystem rather than numbers for sales. They have lost substantial grounds in terms of everything. So many mid range series available on market which makes competition tough. You don't fight of competition by releasing more rather than release less with higher quality which will make the users stay with the brand. This will also reduce the task of releasing updates across models. Everyone says iphone is best they have ut most 4 variants 16,16+,pro and pro max though no much differences which enables them to work on their updates. While Samsung has great hardwares if it reduces the models and focus on the integrated ecosystem they may work out. Just my view.
