Why does Samsung release the update in specific countries 1st rather then pushing the update globally for everyone?

The same day Apple pushed iOS 26 it was released to everyone regardless of which device you're using. With Samsung we should wait... Why??

That's why many people prefer an iPhone nowadays. Affordability is their only obstacle

Brother man🙏

I get what you mean, it can feel slow compared to Apple. But Samsung does staged rollouts for a few reasons:

1.) Different models & chipsets - Unlike Apple (few iPhone models, one chipset), Samsung has many devices and regions with DIFFERENT HARDWARE. Updates need testing to avoid bugs.

2.) Carrier approval - Some countries require carriers to test/approve updates before release. That can delay things. I will make an example: look, for those phones which are tied to carriers like MTN and Vodacom, this will take time as those neworks will want to first test the One UI version out before selling it you see. Since Samsung has a lot of different types of phones, each series is given it's specific time and attention on the test.

3.) Safety check - By releasing in a few countries first, Samsung can catch serious issues before pushing it globally. Usually they start in their own country to see if their will be any faults or how the phone might react to the new One UI

So basically, it’s not about holding back — it’s about making sure the update is stable and works for all the variations of Galaxy devices worldwide you see. I understand the waiting is a problem but, Samsung does not play right, does not play quick, but plays safe.😀
