After updating to One UI 7.0, I'm facing issues with fast/super fast charging. I’ve checked the charging cable, adapter (45W Samsung original), and the port — everything is fine. The only variable that changed is the software update. Before the update, my phone used to charge about 2% per minute. Now it struggles to even reach 1% per minute — charging speed has dropped by roughly 50%. Please help if anyone else is facing this or knows a fix.

Several users have reported slow charging speeds after the One UI 7.0 update. Here are some settings and steps that you can follow to resolve the issue:

🔧 Possible solutions:

1. *Software glitch fix:*
- Start the phone in *Safe mode* and charge it. If fast charging works then, then a third-party app is causing the problem.
- *Enable Safe mode:* Power button > Long press "Power Off" > Tap "Safe Mode"

2. *Check battery settings:*
- *Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > More battery settings*
- Check whether *"Super Fast Charging"* and *"Fast Charging"* options are *ON* or not.

3. *Clear USB cache:*
- *Settings > Apps > Tap on 3 dots > Show system apps > USB Settings > Storage > Clear cache & data*

4. *Battery Calibration:*
- Let the phone fully charge > Once it is 100%, keep it on charge for a while > Then discharge it completely > Charge it again to 100%.

5. *Smart charge option (if available):*
- *Settings > Battery > Protect battery* feature *OFF* and check the charge speed.

6. *Make sure to use original cable + adapter.*

7. *Turn off One UI battery optimization:*
- Settings > Battery > Background usage limits > Turn off "Put unused apps to sleep"

If it helps, please 'accept solution' from the three-dot menu in the comment. I will be happy.😊
