Dear Dmaharaj,

We’re pleased to inform you that the bar is now functioning properly. You can check it under Lock screen and AOD settings for confirmation.

Regarding the new Brief feature — it is currently exclusive to the Galaxy S25 series. However, we’re excited to share that it will be rolled out to other supported devices with the release of One UI 8.

Thank you for your patience and continued support.

Warm regards,
Team One UI

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern, we want to inform you that the Now bar feature allows you to display information such as live notifications, music, or modes and routines on the lock screen. The Now brief feature provides a personalized briefing with suggested content and actions that change throughout the day.

The Now bar can be customized which item to show through live notification apps enabling, music player, current mode on the lock screen.

To customize the Now bar: Settings > Lock screen and AOD > Now bar > tap ‘View more’ to see more on Live notifications > Tap the switches to enable app notifications.

To use: Double tap the screen or press the power button to wake the lock screen > swipe upward on Now bar area to move to the desired bar > tap the Now bar to open the expanded view, press and hold the Now bar to open more options to remove it or change the settings.

If the issue persists, kindly report the problems with a log file. To share a log file, click on the Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on send feedback> Choose Composer> Select error report> select the appropriate issue category> Type your query and send).

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
