Not recieving Email notifications on Samsung Email app

I hadn't been recieving email notifications from the official G mail app and so I switched over to the Samsung Email app, assuming it would run perfect on my Galaxy S9+.

But even then, I'm not recieving any notifications from the app and I'm having to go to the app, scroll down (refresh) my inbox and only then does the new Mail show up.

I've kept all notification settings on, and even the app isn't under the optimize battery settings (screenshots).

Any solutions?

tap new email and click alert option...and switch off show notification in general

ok ..because i am using same device and same settings I told you which I have set

I did that and went into the app. I had to refresh again and AFTER I exited the app only then I got the notifications.

Turned on sync...you received all mail notifications...go to...down notifications penal and find sync button...and Turned on...

go to gmail settings>id settings>manage labels then tick on both the checkbox
