Not getting outlook notifications

Hello friends, I am not getting outlook notifications on my S 24 Ultra. Everytime I have to open the app to see if there is a new email. Tried reinstalling the app twice, checked all settings, still the issue persists. Appreciate your support.

Check Notification Settings:

Go to Settings > Apps > Outlook > Notifications.Ensure that notifications are turned on and set to “Alert” and "Show as pop-up".

Battery Optimization:

Go to Settings > Battery and device care > Battery > Background usage limits.Make sure Outlook is not listed under Sleeping apps or Deep sleeping apps.

Clear Cache:

Go to Settings > Apps > Outlook > Storage.Tap on Clear cache.

Check Do Not Disturb Mode:

Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the notification panel.Ensure Do Not Disturb is turned off.

Re-add Your Account:

Sometimes, removing and re-adding your email account can help.Go to Settings > Accounts and backup > Manage accounts > Outlook.Remove the account and then add it back.

Update Software:

Ensure your device and the Outlook app are up to date.Go to Settings > Software update > Download and install.

Hello Didionpc,

Thank you for the support. I tried all of the above. Unfortunately, there are still no notifications. Surprisingly, mail sent notification works, but new mail notifications doesn't work.

All other notifications such as Gmail, WhatsApp all work well.

Another info is that the server is Gmail. I am using that through the outlook. I have been using the same way for the past 4years without any issues.

This issue came after the new update? If yes, then this app has a support option and a live chat option. You can connect with them, and your issue may be solved . Let us know here if the issue is solved.

The issue started yesterday afternoon. Everything was working well until then. Software update was done a week ago. Sure, I will keep the group updated. Thanks again.

Hello didi. After 3 days of silence, the app started giving notifications. I had nothing to do further. I'm glad that it's working now.
