I have a green line on my s21 fe, mostly due to update I think. Samsung offer free replacement for this if phone is under 3 years. I went to service centre and they declined cause the phone has small minor dents on corners. And the back which is a plastic has scratches. They posted a job sheet so I called the customer service with that and they also declined. These dents are from regular use and not due to any large physical damage. I am just a college student living in hostel with bare money to even go through the month and now they are asking for 15500 for replacement. That's half the cost of the phone. I might buy a new oneplus for that price and oneplus have unlimited free replacement. I am depressed due to this

Brother, the experience one ui providing user is not match by any os.
The problem you mentioned is in all the brands. You google once, Samsung has very few cases of green line. Whereas apple, oneplus has the most.

Oneplus service is superior to samsung. They are providing unlimited free screen replacements to all devices regardless of how old it is. Unlike Samsung whose decline is certain.

You do understand that I am a student and this problem has caused me some mental stress. I am so stressed about it. I dont have 15k for a screen replacement and if I keep using it the problem might increase and have more lines

I went and they declined cause my phone have some minor dent and back has scratchs the back is plastic. They told they only provide replacement for intact phone. No part of my phone has dent on screen or near it. They just want to decline it

Check with any other service center. Some times local staff didn't treat as they have to but it may work.
