Not able to use mobile data when i came out from area that doesn't have 5g

I am using s23ultra and using jio 5g sim. Recently i observed an issue with mobile data connectivity. I was streaming YT on my 5g data and then i traveled through certain area which doesn't have 5g coverage. Here i got notifications from jio that 5g is not present in this area. Data indicators become invisible. 
I tried to turn on off mobile data btn but no response 
I checked my nw mode & it is selected on 5g/3g/auto connect . By default nw should switch to 3g but that didnt happened. 

After this i also tried to change nw mode manually but still data indicators were invisible. 

Then i had to do AP on off to use nw again and this time i was already in 5g coverage area.
