So last month my galaxy S21 FE 5g faced the first ever Display line issue. I took it to my nearest Samsung service shop and this is how it all went:
1. They took my phone checked it to see if it meets all the conditions for free replacement, and asked for my purchase invoice (only if your phone purchasing period is within 3 years, should not be any water damage or physical damage whatsoever)
2. After submitting my invoice, my device ticked all boxes for free replacement, they told me to transfer all my data, then took the phone, write down the IMEI no. and gave me the original copy of the receipt.
3. At first they told me it will take 7 days but on the 5th day I received a call from the shop saying as per new guidelines all the free replacement models of my region should sent to their headquarter asap and asked me whether I wanted to proceed or not.
4. So as I proceeded with it, I asked them about the time period, they said maybe 8-10 days more, so after their said time period I inquired them again and they said it might take another 6-7 days as even they can't tell anything about headquarter's timing.
5. After those days I finally got my phone fixed and paid them only 413 INR for the labour charge.

I know the issue comes up mostly after updating to UI 7 but mine just popped up one day in the midst of class, and I came to know about the update only after rebooting
