Hi everyone,

I'm hoping to get some advice on my recently purchased Galaxy S24 Ultra (Titanium Violet Frame). I've only had the device for 9 days and I've noticed some minor scratches on the frame.
Here's the thing: I've kept it in a case since day one and haven't removed it at all. So, I'm unsure how the scratches might have appeared. It's possible they were there from the factory itself.

I'm wondering if anyone has encountered similar issues with the titanium frame?

 * Has anyone else noticed scratches on their new S24 Ultra titanium frame, even with a case on?

 * Are there any recommended methods for buffing out minor scratches on the titanium frame without damaging the finish?

 * Since the device is new, would a warranty claim be a possibility for a scratched frame?
Any insights or suggestions from the community would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

What's the case you're using? I'm using a Samsung vegan leather case. So far I haven't noticed any scratches in my unit.

Am using a spigen Lequid Crystal clear case, I've got no idea how these scratches came up. The scratches are not noticeable untill it's reflects properly for certain light conditions

In my opinion don't use any cases for phones. When dust accumulates inside the case it's started to damage your phone.

Just treat like a phone not god. It's just a phone.

My advice is Don't use cases... Use as it is when you buy it.

Thanks for the tip! I'll be sure to let my phone know it's not a god when I inevitably send it flying across the room. Maybe it'll learn to dodge next time ;)

I have the same issue. I bougt the titanium gray one in a Samsung store, put it in the tough armor Spigen case since the first minute and only three days have passed by and there is a minor scratch on the bottom side of the frame. It was not from the factory since I carefully checked the device before paying for it. I don't know how it happened. I guess some hard dust particles got between the case and the frame when the phone was in my pocket and made that nasty scratch.

To my surprise, I purchased a second S24 Ultra and have been using a Samsung cover without any issues. However, since the Samsung cover does not entirely cover the titanium frame untill the bottom edge layer, so it is impossible to get scratched for dust, sc. I must say, the titanium build seems quite delicate and prone to scratches, even from dust particles. In comparison, I have used phones with aluminum finishes and never faced such an issue.

I have used Samsung's silicon case with my s24 ultra (Titanium grey) and just after 6 days I noticed terrible scratches on the corners especially at the bottom. I think this is due to plastic material which is used inside the silicon case. It is awful when you invest such amount of money for Samsung's flagship phone while you are using their own silicon case. Really disappointed 😞
