Recently I started facing the freezing issue on messages app, particularly when am connected to Wi-Fi or Mobile data.

I have even turned off advanced features for calls and messages in setting.

My device is S7 running Oreo stock.

Anyone else facing the same issue?

Is there a fix for it?

I have tried clearing cache, worked for few min. But not tried clearing data of messages app.

Samsung was fined for pushing updates which creates lag in performance in order to promote switching of devices.
