I am using s7 edge and facing the problem of media volume going to maximum just as an sms is received. Every time the phone receives an sms, the media volume goes to maximum no matter what my previous setting was. If i am listening to music or watching any video, it causes a lot of inconvenience all of a sudden.

it was recommended by support team to run the mobile in safe mode to know if its a third party affecting media volume. It was just that. No issue faced in safe mode. Since its difficult to pinpoint the third party app since there are so many on the phone, i revoked message permissions to almost all of third party apps. (in settings?
