Hi there, none of the Samsung devices support the LHDC codec. Only LDAC is supported by Samsung devices. Hope you got your answers, pls click on 3 dots to mark as solution.

Will Samsung devices get the update for it at least sometime in the near future?

There is no information regarding this, but perhaps in the future it will be.

Samsunng is using their own bt codec with their own accessories which comes with buds 2 16-bits & buds 2 pro 24-bits

So they can't provide any other open source hi res codecs support

They also provide support of Sbc AAC 16bits, APTX 16bits..

A bit late, if you haven't purchased anything yet, go for oppo enco air 3 pro, as they do support ldac and are similar in price and design to realme
