I think I am facing a bug related to Android/One UI media session service or the JioHotstar background playback service.

Even after uninstalling the JioHotstar app, the green pill-shaped media notification still randomly appears and disappears automatically. Whenever I press the stop button it goes away, but after some time it comes back again even though I am not using Hotstar at all.

It feels like a stuck or ghost media session bug where Android still thinks JioHotstar is playing media in the background. Has anyone else faced this issue or found any permanent solution to remove it?

Its showing Jio hotstar playing on your TV not your phone. Your smart TV and phone are connected to the same wifi thats why

Long press and open notification settings and then just hide it

The notification clearly shows that your Jio Hotstar is playing on your Android TV, and you are getting this notification because both the phone and TV are using the same Wi-Fi network. If you don't want to receive this notification, simply go to TV settings or go to Google settings on your phone and turn off 'Control your TV from your phone.' After that, the notification will go away on its own.
