Jio TRUE 5G not supporting to Galaxy S22 +

Sent request to Jio 5G, received message from Jio TRUE 5G that my Galaxy S22+ will not support for 5G. Any suggestion please.

Mine S22ULTRA is Supported then how Come S22+ not 🤔 Don't rely on these robotic Customer care..let first Jio should start SA 5G in your area since it is just beginning..

I use 5G internet in My S22 plus in Jio 5G network. May be this guy is not living in 5G range area

Bro i m in 5g network area even my room mate is using jio5g without any issue but in mybs22 plus it shows error in hanset 5g settings..even though my network seltction is in 5g

I am also using Samsung S22+, i am also facing same problem. My Jio app checks mobile and says please switch to 5G enabled device.

May be due to some specific model numbers like device purchased outside india the bots are thinking its not 5G device. But my area has 5G and i got an invite to join.  Ive to try the third party app as suggested in this forum

Hi All, I found a solution for activating 5g, please install force lte only and select NR only. Once Jio gets attached to 5G network then it will connect automatically.

No need of install any kind of third party app. S22 series phones are 5G updated by samsung.

Who said that S22 plus will not support 5G? I am already using Jio 5G from many days. 5G is working super fine in my Galaxy S22 plus device. May be you are not in the range of 5G network. Go to another city and check for 5G network if it is available there.

For the first time Jio sim to start 5g you need to set the handset in 5g only mode which can be done by 3rd party app as samsung does not have option to open the network band menu directly. This technique worked for me.

No. S22 series is already 5G ready. I never inserted my sim in another phone. Your idea is good for other devices but S22 is already 5G ready.The 3 main important things are
1. You got invitation offer or not?
2. Go in 5G range area
3. Over 399 scheme should be activated
