Hello Everyone,

I recently encountered an issue with eSIM slot assignment on my Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, and I wanted to share my experience to see if others have faced the same problem.

Observations:
  • I first installed an Airtel eSIM, followed by a Jio eSIM. Ideally, the system should assign Airtel to SIM 1 and Jio to SIM 2, but instead, it assigned them in the reverse order—Jio in SIM 1 and Airtel in SIM 2.
  • To troubleshoot, I removed the Jio eSIM (⚠️ Be careful—removing any eSIM requires visiting a respective brand store for reactivation). I assumed that upon reinstalling the Jio eSIM, the phone would maintain Airtel as SIM 1 and assign Jio as SIM 2, but the same issue persisted—Airtel was set to SIM 2, and Jio took SIM 1 again.
  • I attempted to change the icons by assigning Icon 1 to Airtel and Icon 2 to Jio. While this correctly reflected in call logs, it did not actually change the SIM slot assignments.
  • I couldn't find any settings that allow users to manually set SIM 1 and SIM 2 for eSIMs. This lack of control is frustrating.

  • Also as per above screenshot Airtel eSim is tagged to IMEI 1 and Jio eSim tagged to IMEI 2, still the S25Ultra maintain Jio as Sim 1 and Airtel as Sim 2.
Request:
CouldSamsung provide a setting to manually assignSIM 1 andSIM 2 foreSIMs? If there's an existing way to do this that I might have missed, I’d appreciate any guidance from the community orSamsung support.

Has anyone else faced this issue? If so, how did you resolve it?

Thanks!
