Observing issue for using secondary WhatsApp.

 Trying to set secondary WhatsApp but I get asked whether my number is correct and then the screen remains the same instead of asking authentication code.

True! I don't know how mine got resolved but after multiple tries I got it working.

Backup and clear cache and data. If still not working, reinstall WhatsApp.
