Instagram notifications keep repeating despite being cleared

I recently upgraded to One UI 6 and been facing this issue where read notifications are repeating on Instagram. The DMs I've already opened and responded to are coming back as notifications every time a new notification is coming.

I'm using a S22+ plus One UI 6. Somebody suggest a solution.

Maybe Instagram is in deep sleep / network blocked.

One ui 6 has a lot of bugs.
Try to update Instagram
Go settings >apps> Instagram > clear catche memory. Check again if its fixed

As per your concern, we would request you to kindly perform the following steps to resolve your issue.

Clear app cache through Device care:
Settings > Device care > Storage > CLEAN NOW.

Note: To delete files or uninstall apps that you do not use anymore, select a category under USER DATA. Then, tick items to select and tap DELETE or UNINSTALL.

The clear cache memory of a particular application:
Settings > Apps > Now pick the app that you like to clear off the cache memory > Storage > Clear Cache.

Reset the device Settings: Settings > General Management > Reset settings>Reset all settings to their default.

Tap on Google Play Store app or Galaxy Store> Manage apps & device> Apps available to update> If you want to update apps individually, tap See details and then tap the Update button next to the app you would like to update.

In case the issue still persists, kindly share the report of the problems with a log file. To share a log file, click on the Samsung Members Application (Open Samsung Members Application > Support> Tap on error report > Type your query > Send).

Issue still persists after trying all those steps. It is getting very annoying

There is no fix to this issue as of now. Apparently it is an Instagram thing, will have to wait and check if they release an update or Samsung fixes some bugs.

Confirm it's now on s22 as well! Tried every step the issue started at random after an instagram update!

I am also facing this issue. No solutions yet. Tried everything no luck. Maybe we need to wait for official updates to resolve this

Same issue on my S22 Ultra. Happens with Instagram and messenger too..pathetic.
