Galaxy SSamsung's March 2025 and February 2025 updates reportedly causing Green or Pink line issues on the Galaxy S23 series and S21 FE, respectively.
I have reached out to a Samsung insider (authorized service center executive) to enquire what the users with affected Galaxy phones can do.
"At present, Samsung is not offering free screen replacement against Green or Pink line issues."
Well, he shared the steps users can follow to get the screen replaced at no cost.
- Get your smartphone inspected by the nearest Service Center and don't forget getting a genuine quotation over email.
- Remember: Do not unnecessarily argue or misbehave with Service Center staff, even in frustration. It will reduce your chances to avail a free screen replacement.
- Users should reach out to Samsung Support (most preferred medium - EMAIL) and "raise a Quality Claim." Tell them that your device is not physically or water damaged, still the display developed a Green/Pink line(s).
- Share the estimated repair cost and refer to the offer previously ran by Samsung in which many consumers got free screen replacement.
- Based on your communication skills, you would be able to score a free of cost Screen and Battery replacement.
- It would take 10 days and you need to pay nearly INR 500 as repair cost to the service center.
Hopefully, it would work for you all.

Galaxy SFrom the pattern I've observed in the posts, it's not about how well you communicate, but rather how far you're willing to go as a customer that determines Samsung's response. Even after trying all these steps for days, many people are still being denied a free replacement.
I've stopped suggesting the escalation approach now. Instead, get the job sheet number, obtain the quote in writing, and directly register a grievance with the consumer helpline. This approach has already helped a few people, and at the very least, it spares you the frustration of endless, unproductive communication with Samsung.
