I'm a returning user to the Samsung Smartphones, and prior to the S23 Ultra, I owned 2 Huawei phones. Now, there is a major area with Samsung that I feel insecure about when I compare it with Huawei; the lack of a dedicated inbuilt Application, that can be used to lock, prevent access and secure applications. The feature was a favourite for me in my Huawei phones and pretty sure millions other would love the feature too if introduced in Samsung.
I am currently depending on a third party application which does not give the confidence and security of a built in software feature, and fails many a times (tried multiple apps, all behave the same way).

The features of the applock:
1. Inbuilt with the system software, with no way to uninstall or deactivate it.
2. Applock only accessible through Privacy and Security section of mobile settings.
3. Able to lock all applications, with provision to choose ability to display or hide notification content of the locked application.
4. Finger print, face, password and pin unlock.
5. Automatic Request to lock when new application is detected.
6. Discreet photo taken if multiple wrong attempts were made.

Secure folder is great when u wanna totally hide away stuff... It works great for that purpose. But I miss a traditional applock.

App lock only locks the app with security settings like face, finger, pattern.

App lock was present in S8/9/10 series but they removed it from s21 series dont know why. We miss it.
