Can anybody tell me what does this icon means?

It's an icon indicating sim 1 or 2. You can check the same in setting> connections >sim manager option. In one ui 6 it's showing the icon and not the sim number like 1 or 2

Yes found the option. Doesn't go well with the aesthetic. I wish i had a way to remove that icon

It Is The Icon That Represent Through Which Sim Your Message Is Comming.
You Can Check Through This Steps:-
setting> connections >sim manager option→ it will showing the icon In Place of Sim Number.
