Without uploading to One Drive the Samsung Gallery on S24U can't sync directly with the Book 4 Gallery. The subscription of OneDrive is basic, of only 5 GBs
Dear Experts, What can be done? Any tweaks?

Thanks for your reply. How will that sync with my Book 4 Gallery, whenever both are connected to the same Wi-Fi? Backup is not an issue, but synchronization is.

Dear User,
You're correct — Samsung Gallery sync between the Galaxy S24 Ultra and Galaxy Book4 relies on OneDrive integration, as Samsung Cloud sync for Gallery was discontinued. With only 5GB of free OneDrive storage, limitations arise quickly.
Expert Suggestions:
1. Upgrade OneDrive Plan:
If seamless sync is critical, consider a Microsoft 365 Personal plan (100GB–1TB) — offers full integration and value for productivity too.
2. Use Quick Share (or Nearby Share)
For manual transfers of selected photos/videos across devices without cloud use.
Fast, wireless & doesn't eat up cloud storage.
Works great within the Samsung ecosystem.
3. Google Photos as an Alternative
Backup your photos to Google Photos (15GB free).
Install Google Photos on Book4 via web or app (if supported).
Not native to Samsung Gallery but works reliably.
4. Samsung Flow
Allows screen sharing, file transfer & clipboard sync between S24U and Book4.
Doesn’t depend on OneDrive.
Pro Tip:
Combine Google Photos for backup & Quick Share for real-time file moves — zero cost, efficient workflow!
