With the introduction of ai features that are pushed regularly.. software has become more important than a long term hardware of phones.. not every features are provided by any manufacturer in regular updates to older phones

No one will or rather wont be able to... Every app and features nowadays consume most of your resources 24/7 so you will feel device behaving sluggish just after 2 years

Just keep the phone fresh without updating the apps, except Google services and play store + google

Max, I propose that we sustain our current strategic approach for a period of up to four years. This timeline aligns with the projected emergence of 6G technology, which is expected to introduce a new generation of devices that could potentially diminish the competitiveness of our existing product line. While a seven-year update cycle is an admirable objective, I anticipate that many contemporary features will become incompatible with older devices within two years, thereby encouraging users to consider upgrades within a three-to-four-year timeframe. Furthermore, I believe that a very small percentage of users will retain their devices for more than seven years.
