Galaxy S
Hi 2 All my Friends and Admirers...
Prior to my purchase of Samsung Galaxy S10 Lite, I was using S7 Edge and I really admired it's awesome design, features and light weight and had been rock solid with me for more than 3 years and did not feel like parting with it but time had come for an upgrade as OS was not the latest Android 10 than software updates were to stop which would have compromised on security and battery life was getting affected and was lucky to hear about Samsung planning for a Snapdragon in a Galaxy Handset as I had experienced Snapdragon prior in Google Nexus 5 and original Galaxy Note and was a fan of Snapdragon and so now the story begins with my Purchase of S10 Lite with Snapdragon 855 with 8GB of Ram and 128GB of ROM which I further enhanced with 128GB Memory Card and biy am I happy with the snappy performance of the device with Android 10 as compared to my S7 S7 Edge as I also had to frequently transfer my media to my Laptop due to 32GB space on my S7 S7 Edge as at that time I was also using Reliance Jio as secondary sim to my Airtel. And the battery life has been amazing till date even with multiple email accounts sync all the time and inspite of big screen size 6.7 inches the phone is very ergonomic to hold and light weight and the huge battery capacity of 4500mah has been a boon as not having to charge my handset till night as I don't play any video games on my phone but use it heavily for media streaming and internet browsing so while the screen size of 6.7" is a pleasure to watch movies or surf the net, One Big Drawback I found is missing out on Stereo Speakers with the handset size dual speakers would have been a terrific thing to make it more better with the support of huge battery life of 4500 mah which again getting charged with the bundled 25w charger out of the box is so amazing and feel this is a must for every phone out there as it charges such a big battery to 50% in 30 minutes from below 5%. There again wireless charging is not available which at times I miss a lot as I used it frequently on my S7 edge but again the speed of wireless charging was way slower than regular speed of 10w charger which was there with S7 Edge. Again I miss IP68 rated phone which my S10 Lite is not and I faced issue of not able to take it with me in the bath which I did with my S7 Edge and miss it dearly as I cannot pick a call while in shower. But finally if I compare the advantages and disadvantages of buying a Flagship phone like S20 Series vs S10 Lite I found I saved on the premium cost associated with purchasing S20 series and having to live with Exynos Processor which in my honest opinion kills the thrill of having a highend Samsung Galaxy device which is best in all aspects but lags on the processor front after having read people having concerns in Regards to over heating, battery draining, poor camera functionality on S20 series which none of it I faced on my S10 Lite but I did not find the cameras of S10 Lite anywhere near my S7 Edge as it used to take amazing snaps with great detail which i miss till date. So there are advantages and disadvantages of it. I got my S10 Lite for around Rs.27000/- after getting a discount of Rs.3000/- through icici bank credit card and another Rs.10000/- for my S7 Edge. So overall I feel I am not regretting my Purchase as my biggest need was for a good processor, great battery life, big screen size, latest processor and good amount of RAM so not having to delete apps frequently and big storage size as not having to transfer media frequently. Lots of Love from my S10 Lite...
