Galaxy SYour system will keep apps in memory until it runs out of free space. This is so that apps can be launched faster.
Don't bother about it. Just use the phone and let the system handle its own affairs. Believe me, it will do it better than you.

Galaxy SThanks a lot for replying. I was just worried because out of 12GB only 3-4GB is free all the time even if I am not using anything.

Galaxy SYou "dam sure" have some punctuation symbols in that device, right? Use them! That mess was difficult to read!
