I'm facing the same issue with my Galaxy Watch 7, where I'm seeing error 4001 in the Galaxy Wearable app. I have the LTE version of the Watch 7 and a Jio eSIM, and I'm using it with my Galaxy S23 Ultra. How can I resolve this issue?

Dear Samsung Member,

Greetings from Samsung Customer Support!

As per your concern, we want to inform you that all of your personal data will be removed, and the watch will restore back to its default settings, so you won't have to worry about personal info still being on it. You can reset your watch using the Settings or with the Galaxy Wearable app on your phone.

Note: Before performing the factory data reset, don't forget to backup all the important data stored in the Galaxy Watch.

Select the reset method to reset Galaxy fit Watch:-
Path: Settings>General> Reset> Tap the checkmark and follow any on-screen instructions to start the reset.

Reset the watch using the Galaxy Wearable app: Step1: Open the Galaxy Wearable app on your connected phone.
Step2: Next, tap Watch settings.
Step3: Tap General, tap Reset, and then tap Reset again to confirm.

Kindlt try to active E sim after performing the above given steps. The LTE version of watch can receive calls and messages without being connected to a phone. However, you'll first need to activate service for your watch through the same carrier as your mobile phone.

Activate service: When you connect your watch to your phone for the first time, you'll see prompts to activate your carrier's service on the watch. Once you've done that, you'll need to finish the activation process.

Step1 Go to Galaxy Wearable app,
Step2 Tap on Watch settings
Step3 Tap on Mobile plans; the app will begin scanning for an eligible LTE network.
Step4 Next, follow the prompts to complete the activation. Your phone needs to have a SIM card inserted.

In case the issue still occurs, please visit the service center for a physical inspection of your device. You can locate your nearest service center with this given link: https://www.samsung.com/in/support/service-center/

Warm Regards,
Samsung Customer Support
