Heating problem s20 Plus

I am using two phones: 

# iPhone 6 - Using from the last 4.5 years and working perfectly if we ignore the device speed.

# Galaxy s7 edge - Died after 2.2 years of service.

To replace the s7 edge I just purchased the S20+ and spent around 72k

I am not a gaming user but the phone is heating too much after doing some basic operations. Like Calling, emails, camera, etc.

The phone is really nice with plenty of features and enjoying more than iOS but I have a feeling that it can not be run more than 2 years. 

Face lock is not too fast as I see it is really good on some Oppo phones whose cost is under 20k 

If there is an option of a refund then I would like to move to iPhone 11 Pro.

phone is heating like room heater

Today again I faced this overheating issue after my phone suddenly went black. I had to force start it. After which it started overheating and had a Temperature of 43° C. My phone is updated. still this issue. What should I do??

yes i do face heating issue on my s20 + everyday and the battery temperature goes to 45-47 c i don't know when will samsung fix the issue this is flagship phone with 70k price tag it should not be like this with same usage i do not face any issue kn my s10 + please do something about it samsung or give us moeny backfo selling faulty devices

Samsung is loosing it's credibility in India. The best flagship phone S20 has many issues but the very basic issue is heating issue.
I bought Samsung Over iPhone due to its SAR rating. but looks like this phone is much more dangerous than any other phone.
I fear that it may blast anytime , it gets heated with minimum use as well.

I am sure it is a software bug but I am equally surprised that why Samsung is not able to fix it.

Samsung Dropped price of S20 by almost half, is that the testimony that they have lost the battle and given up.

My New Samsung Galaxy is having severe heating issue. my phone is now just like iron box..my phone is up-to-date..but still its the same

heating issue still not resolved yet I was using one plus 6 from past 3 years there is no single issue, I thought to upgrade one plus 8t but replaced with s20 plus , it's amazing phone if heating issue is not there, in this phone if I use camera it's start heat and it will be like iron box and after some time camera start getting error as phone is in heat please wait until it cool down and it stop working it's really bad with this samsung device I really appreciate if there is any refund option or solution for this issue..

Same problem here. With updates today, 12-17-2020 still has overheating issues.  Brought it to customer support and told me they will try to reset and I have to backup all my data so they can determine heating issues. I never had this with S9+. The camera **bleep** also. I really think they should replace this unit. When my contract ends I'm gonna switch to Google pixel.

same issue with me.
it heats after normal usage and battery goes down fast .
asking customer to stop using certain features is absolutely pathetic.
someone paid hefty amount for flagship and geting such a poor performance .

i m purchase Samsung S20 but the phone is heating too much so plz fix this problem Samsung team
