Galaxy SI totally agree with you.
PWM hurts anyone with normal vision and it is unacceptable that a company like Samsung does not solve this problem. This type of blackout is not even new, there are companies that advertise their professional monitors for the absence of flicker, the economic ones have pwm because it costs less than direct current. I think samsung, as long as the regulations allow it, will use inexpensive components in favor of its pockets and to the detriment of the health of us users. I have a Samnsung monitor and at least they have had the decency to use a hybrid system (like iphone) that over 30% of brightness uses direct current and below 30% uses pwm. Obviously these things do not even explain them in the instruction booklet, yet I bought a note 10 paid almost € 800. I would have expected much more

Galaxy SI totally agree with this statement, just bought a Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus that I can't use, even with the app "Oled Saver" which put the display at 100% brightness, only controlling the dimming with an overlay, my eyes still hurt as the Note 10 Plus display STILL flickers at 100% which is ridiculous.
I'm gonna have to return this phone and buy one from a Chinese brand like the Oneplus 8 Pro, a brand that I don't even like, and I prefer Samsung features and software 100000 times more, but they at least respected and cared for their customers eyes, by making DC dimming available for their last 3 flagships.
Will gladly come back as soon as Samsung releases a DC dimming feature and flicker free displays on their phones, but until then, I like my eye health more than I like using Samsung products.
This PWM thing is getting so out of hand with Samsung that I have 2 Smart tvs, one Samsung and one Sony and the Sony is the only one that doesn't cause me or my family eye strain.
PlEASE SAMSUNG, STOP USING LOW FREQUENCY PWM ON YOUR PRODUCTS.

Galaxy SI just bought s20 plus, and in 2 days of using it, I felt dizzy and my eyes are not comfortable as before. I have never had an issue on a android phone before, since s7, and one plus 7 pro, this s20 plus phone makes my head dizzy and heavy. I dont know why

Galaxy SWow, I can use the Samsung s7 and s6 all day long with no eyestrain. Sony xperia xz3 is also perfect. But when I bought Samsung tab s6, eyestrain was present after only 10 minutes of use. And my brothers Samsung s10e is also awful for eyes. WHAT THE **bleep** ARE YOU DOING SAMSUNG???? I WILL NEVER BUY A SAMSUNG PRODUCT AGAIN IF U DONT FIX THIS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE!!!!!
