Its next to impossible to consume the HDR content in Netflix, Hotstar, Prime Video etc. in the Galaxy s24 series and below. There's no point in calling it a marvelous Amoled display when you can barely watch HDR content on it. S25 has gotten it right, so I thought it might just be because of OneUI 7. But now that s24 has gotten the update, still the HDR content brightness is way below what creators have created them for. All hope is lost. They are just cheats selling 1000$ phones. Atleast give a button to switch the hdr the hell off and watch content in SDR, so that its at least watchale. Done with Samsung this time. S24plus would be the last phone from samsung I would use. First the cheap overheating Exynos and then this never ending problem. Substandard!

The dark scenes in HDR content are close to invisible and the normarl scenes are very muted.

I have an s23 as well. You need to compare it with an s25. Even with low brightness on s25, its night and day. Its a generic problem.

Haha i thought i was the only one with that problem, also look if haven't turned on the extra dim feature on that cuts down brightness really hard.

I checked the stranger things on netflix with my s24plus with my wife's s25. Both being 2600nits displays, s25's lowest brightness was brighter than s24's highest brightness in all the scenes. This is just stealing.

I don't understand what people who have bought TAB S9 series were thinking. People buy tabs generally for content consumption and this problem is prevalent in any device before s25series
