HDFC bank App crashing

Hi guys

Today after updating the Google Play System Update to August, HDFC bank App is crashing. It won't work even if you uninstall and reinstall the App. 

I'm on One UI 5.1 August 2023 update

Yes i can confirm the same issue on my Z Flip4.

I was finally able to use the app for downloading statements and also initiating a transaction. Trick that worked:

1. Keep your phone on 4G connection
2. Turn off wifi / mobile data
3. Open the app till it shows the fingerprint / MPIN screen
4. Turn on Wifi / Mobile data
5. Login and enjoy.

For me the app worked normally for that session. But after pressing back and reopening the app again causes the issue. So a temporary solution till a fix is released.

BTW, this has been an issue on all phones that received August google play system update

I was trying to login when i lost my connection switching to 4G from 5G. In the meanwhile it opened.. later i replicated the steps and it worked.

Turn your mobile data off then open hdfc app then let it run till login window then turn on mobile data it will run...pls accept solution for this comment by pressing 3dots on right side

Works but if you turn on WiFi or data and try opening it again, it will automatically close

Its i bug will be fix in next update thus is temporary solution
