Green line issue in Samsung s21 fe

My Samsung galaxy S21 Fe recently got an update which I downloaded and install on October 2nd at near about 8:00 p.m. but after the installation of the update, the next day I found a green line appearing in my screen & after some time it got much more persistent and it is hampering the phone's display 
I am pretty sure it is an issue from the software behind and update, which was probably faulty, I have also search through the internet and found many other users of the same device facing the same issue after this update,
Samsung India provided a solution to this problem by replacing the whole display along with the metal frame free of cost (only the engineering charges were applied), but this offer was uptill september 30th,
But the problem occurred, after September 30th and now when I visited the Samsung service centre they told me that the repair is now need to be paid because the policy time is over, 
But it is not fair as users who just got the greenline issues and also because of the faulties of software update, will have to pay ?? How is this fair when it's not even the user's fault!!
The price is a hefty amount of near about 10000 rupees, which is extremely not unfair because the issue wasn't even caused because any of my fault.
I am student who saved up money to buy this phone 2 years ago and I expect it to last up till 4 to 5 years and because it is Samsung also proceeded to purchase this device 


But now this faults are appearing and now I have to pay much more which is not acceptable !!


@samsungindia please extend the time limit of the policy so that you just like me can FL eat and continue to hold the trust that we have built for Samsung

I'm facing the same line issue brother and am going to the service centre for the repair. But I did not know about the repair validity period. That's just sad. Especially when the fault occurred after the validity period☹️

No they haven't checked what caused this issue and this issue happened right after update
Due to a faulty update from Samsung why the user should pay?
and for the same issue Samsung previously provided an policy where they would repair the device free of cost
But that was upto September 30th
My device faced the issue after update on 02/10/24

So why am I not applicable for the same policy

The updates are causing this issue and the user need to pay?
It's unfair and not expected from Samsung

@samsungindia should extend their policy of free repair for users like us

I also got the same issue today and the same was the response from ur customer care the trust we keep in samsung products must be kept alive @samsungindia plss increase the time limit for the screen replacement

I had updated my phone on 9th March and on 10th when I installed updated software my screen got green line in middle of the screen

Kindly help
